TRUCK DISPATCHER: Do You Really Need One? This Will Help You Decide!
Hiring a truck dispatcher
By hiring a truck dispatcher, you will give them directions or thoughts on the way that you need to work and move your trucks. Each day when entering the workplace they should contact you and touch base for the day. The dispatcher will post your truck in the city where you are; the dispatcher will offer you the best loads accessible with the highest rates, lightest loads, and best routes for the moment. We will not accept any loads without your consent!
Backoffice Work
All the paperwork will be submitted and handled by the dispatcher. After receiving your approval to accept the load, we will send you the document packet and all info necessary to start your first load. While you are having your first cup of joe for the day or completing some other morning routine, we will be working on your next load. Our communication is crucial, the dispatcher should always be notified of anything that will prevent the load from arriving on time so we can inform the receiver and resolve any situations as smoothly as possible. We will negotiate any detention, lumper fees with the broker.
